Hello, I'm Shelby Porter. I am from Newport Beach, California and will be majoring in political science with a minor in psychology. I love California, especially orange county so that is why I decided to stay in the area and attend Chapman. I'm only 20 minutes away from home but I live on campus and am so happy to finally be on my own.

I am deathly afraid of the freshman 15, although I do think it may be a myth. I love running, hiking, eating and sleeping. I'm a huge Heros and Lost fan and I guess you could say I'm a Deadliest Catch fanatic. I've been four places at once, have a twin sister, and enjoy being short. I plan on joining a sorority this year and hopefully getting involved in some clubs.
